Great news. This weekend you can enjoy yourself while contributing to an amazing cause at the same time. You don't have to spend all day volunteering or donate your entire pay cheque to charity to make a difference.
After the huge success of the Bake For Syria street party in Hackney back in July, it's clear that giving back while enjoying yourself isn't just practical, it's pretty damn enjoyable as well.
We've pulled together the coolest conscious events you can get involved in.
Saturday sessions at the House of St Barnabas
A live music session in a Soho courtyard garden, with brunch, sounds ideal for any Saturday.
But when all proceeds go to helping people affected by homelessness back into work, turning up and spending some money for a good cause is a no brainer. Plus, two-for-one cocktails.
So far this summer, House of St Barnabas have hosted singer/songwriter Samantha Whates and The Royal Organ Duo, and are hosting cover band Half Moon Street Band and vocalist Nina Miranda before the season is over.
@samantha_whates will be filling the garden with beautiful sounds for tomorrow's Saturday Sessions. Samantha has been bewitching audiences with her crystalline voice and unique take on folk music since her 2012 debut 'Dark Nights Make For Brighter Days'. Every summer you tell yourself you're going to go to an outdoor cinema screening. This year, check out the roaming cinema that gives one hundred per cent of its proceedings to The Sustainability Institute, based in South Africa.
Nomad shows films in Southampton at Westquay Esplanad and at various locations around London.
